HOW TO JOIN

If you are considering joining First UMC as a member, there are three ways to unite with this church family:
 
• Transfer of Membership
• Reaffirmation of Faith
• Profession of Faith
 
We encourage those considering church membership to attend Starting Point.
 

 
Starting Point is a conversational environment where you can find your next step in the journey here at First United Methodist Church. Each Starting Point session begins with a social where you can meet Dr. Pat Day and Rev. Derek Joyce, ask questions about the church and ministries here, and find out how you can get involved.
 
If you have not been baptized, our ministers will be happy to baptize you at the time you join or privately before joining First United Methodist Church.
