YOUR CHILDREN

FUMC Shreveport provides a fun, comfortable and loving environment for your children.
 
A fully staffed nursery is available during all Sunday worship services in the Children’s Ministry Building (located behind the Emmett Hook Center on the corner of Milam & Douglas Streets). Children ages 8 weeks to 2 years are cared for by our loving staff and volunteers allowing you the opportunity to worship, and give God your full attention.
 
Children ages 2-­‐Grade 4 are encouraged to attend an age appropriate worship experience during regular worship times. Click here to find out more about Children’s Worship at FUMC.

Sunday School for all ages meets at 9:45am each Sunday.
Nursery:
Nursery is available in the Children’s Ministry Building
Infants: Loveable Lambs room
Walkers and Crawlers: Mighty Monkeys room
1 year olds: Gentle Giraffes room
 
Preschool:
Sunday School meets in the Children’s Ministry Building
2 year olds: Lively Lions room
3 year olds: Friendly Frogs room
4 year olds: Kind Kangaroos room
 
Elementary:
Sunday School meets in the Dawson Building on the 2nd floor.
During the school year, grades 1-4 gather in room 208 at 10:00am for an opening session and they are escorted to their Sunday School rooms at 10:15am. Pick up is in the rooms listed at 10:45am.

PreTeens:
5th and 6th grade students meet in the LOFT on the Hunter Building roof.
 
Youth:
7th-12th grade students gather in Hunter 201, on the 2nd floor of the Hunter building.
