Welcome to the children’s nursery at First United Methodist Church!
We strive to ensure your child will come to enjoy the time he or she spends with us. We want your child’s first experience with church to be a happy one. Our goal is to see to it that each child is cared for in a loving environment so that you as the parent will feel comfortable leaving them while you worship and/or attend classes and events. As a parent and a grandparent, I can relate to the anxiety many parents have when leaving their child for the first time and being able to put their trust in the Nursery Ministry. I feel that it is very important to … "Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it."

Nursery is provided during Sunday School, worship services, and when requested for church events. The classrooms are located in the Children’s Ministry Building.

3’s - Friendly Frogs
4’s - Kind Kangaroos
 
Please note that promotion for ages 1-4 is done in August each year. Promotion to the Walkers and Crawlers and the 1’s is based on development and should be discussed with the director. Staff/child ration also affects the decision to promote in these two rooms.

A nursery is available for children infant-age 4 in the Children’s Ministry building.
 
Summer Camps
Camps are available during the summer months for children ages 3-grade 4. Children ages 3-5 are invited to join us for Veggie Camp and Vacation Bible School each year. For a listing of our scheduled summer camps, click here.
