Monday, Aug. 2nd - 6:00 PM - Dinner & Games for Singles Age 50+ (or for anyone who wants to come, there is really no actual age required).  Meet in Hunter Building room 201 upstairs.  Afterward, we will play cards, dominoes, board games, pool, ping pong, air hockey, etc.  Katy needs your reservation in advance for dinner (cost is $7 paid at the door) but there is no charge or reservation needed to come just play games.  All are welcome!  

Tuesday, Aug. 3rd - Active Singles group game night in Hunter Bldg, room 201 (upstairs) Church will supply fried chicken, drinks, plates, cups, etc.  If you can, bring a veggie dish or dessert to go with that.  Your side dish doesn't have to be homemade - just pick something up at the store.  If you can't manage that, come eat anyway!  We just want to see you!  We'll play cards, pool, ping pong, and board games.

Tuesday, Aug. 10th - 7:00 PM - Meet us at  Fairgrounds Field for Shreveport Captains baseball!  Come sit with us in section 204.  Admission is $5.00, BUT if two people walk up at the same time, you can get two tickets for the price of one!  Eat beforehand or buy concessions at the game. Game starts at 7:05 PM, and it is the LAST game we will go to together this season.

Tuesday, Aug. 17th - 6 PM til 9 PM - Pool Party at the home of Richard & Cyndi McDonald (Call Katy at 424-7771 for location).  Richard McDonald will grill burgers, sausages, etc. for everyone.  Plates, cups, utensils, napkins and condiments will all be supplied.  YOU should bring your swimsuit, a towel & a lawn chair.  You may also bring chips, dip, drinks, dessert, or a side dish for potluck - but it's not required.

Tuesday, Aug. 24th - 6:00 Volleyball at FUMC, then supper together at Jason's Deli, 5810 Line Ave.

Saturday, Aug. 28th - River Tubing near Broken Bow, OK.  This is a Day Trip.  If weather and water conditions permit, we will leave about 8 AM and return by 9 PM.  Katy has emailable flyer with complete details  (There are specific supplies and prep needed if you plan to go with the group). Ask for a flyer if you need one.

Tuesday, Aug. 31st - 6:00 Volleyball at FUMC, then supper at Silver Star BBQ, 1810 Benton Rd., Bossier.

Tuesday, Sept. 7th - 6:00 PM - Meet at NWLA Food Bank (2307 Texas Ave., 675-2400) to help pack food boxes for the elderly or whatever they need us for.  Park anywhere - other businesses will be closed for the evening.  Afterward, we will eat together at Columbia Café, 3030 Creswell Ave. at corner of Kings Hwy.

Tuesday, Sept 28th - 6:00 PM - Picnic in Betty Virginia Park!  Bring a lawn chair and a takeout supper for yourself, and meet us in the park (corner of Line Ave. and Ockley).  Kids and pets are invited!  You can also bring toys like Frisbees, balls, whatever you wish. (Note: If weather is iffy, call the church office and ask what is the plan.)
